Testing Machines Inc. makes testing of brightness, opacity and color affordable in production and QC applications with the introduction of the Brightness & Color Meter for under $12,000. Manufacturers and specifiers of brightness and color no longer need to spend $30,000 for a high-end instrument or forego testing due to budget limitations. The Brightness & Color Meter can determine color purity, degree of yellowness, degree of whiteness, color matching and color fastness on many materials including nonwovens, textiles, paper and packaging. This instrument displays numerical values with one-button simplicity for color and whiteness in accordance with CIE and ISO standards. A built-in printer provides a hard copy of test results. The RS-232 output provides an interface to a PC through the optional TestLink software to allow remote data acquisition, display and storage.
