NEW INK RUB METHOD FOR COATINGS AND INKS INTRODUCED BY FINAT

The TMI Group enjoyed a successful show this year in Brussels at Label Expo Europe 2009.
"We are pleased to report, a significant amount of traffic was directed to the TMI booth as a result of a new Ink Rub testing method introduced by FINAT based on the TMI Ink Rub Tester," says Dave Muchorski, VP of Marketing. The new method published by FINAT in 2008 is entitled "Ink Rub for UV printed Labels Ink Surface against Substrate or Ink Surface." This new method is suitable for checking rub resistance of printed UV ink. The method can check ink rub against substrate or ink surface against ink surface.
The TMI Group provided the Ink Rub testing instrument to develop the method. "We had many visitors at our booth asking questions about the new method and to see the tester in operation." says Mr. Muchorski, "Several customers brought samples to test for evaluation according to the new method."
